Open Question: I want to visit a Eurpeon country where the people are friendly, honest and r interested in foreigners. Recs?

I have heard that the Italians are often scamming and you don't know who to trust. I have heard the French or cold and rude to foreigners, especially Americans. I have a very thin skin and I am not particular street smart. In Japan and Korea, the people are quite kind in helping foreigners so it was a nice experience for me. There was no crime or people trying to rip me off. I went to Thailand and the Philippines, I was often worried about crime and the people only wanted to talk to me they were gonna get money from me. People were lying all the time in order to make more money. It left a bad taste in my mind. I didn't know who to trust at the end.
